Continuous Medical Education

CME consists of training activities, which develops and increases the knowledge, skills, and professional performance and relationships used by the physician to provide better services for patients, the public and the medical profession and health.

Also, continuing medical education is a set of knowledge and skills generally recognized and accepted by the profession in the basic medical sciences, and the discipline of clinical medicine, and the provision of health care to the public. It is the means by which members of professional disciplines maintenance and to improve and expand their knowledge and skills and develop the personal qualities needed in their careers.

In Ministry of Health facilities, encourages all employees to develop and improve their personal skills by joining every type of professional activities, and active participation in these activities, whether if they have been offered in the outside or within the institutions of the Ministry of Health.

The Department of Continuing Medical Education development and the development of educational and training programs for technicians at the Ministry of Health and oversee the implementation and development in all sectors government and private health and sanitation of the Ministry of Health also oversees the educational and training programs organized by the academia implement a system of credit hours of Continuing Medical Education & Software Interns and training programs resident.

The Department of Continuing Medical Education organizes conferences and seminars and workshops to be held under the umbrella of the Ministry of Health at the local, regional and international and evaluate educational and training programs for those conferences and seminars and workshops and study paybacks and work to develop the levels and global standards aimed at developing professions medical and health in the United Arab Emirates, is also cooperating Continuing Medical Education Department with the relevant authorities from outside the ministry to ensure the provision of additional resources for continuing medical education programs and training of technicians.
